Registration for Summer 2021 is open until February 26, 2021.
Steps to Register
In order to hold a space on a program, you will need to complete the following steps:
Step 1: Complete the following registration form. You will need to provide your passport number if you already hold a valid passport.
Step 2: Review and agree to the terms of the Student Participation Agreement.
Step 3: Respond to the questionairre regarding your motivation for enrolling in the Global Internship Program. Responses should be well thought out and demonstrate why you are a strong candidate to be selected for the program. It is highly encouraged for applicants to prepare their responses in advance on a Word document and then copy and paste to the application. Please visit your program webpage and refer to the "Documents to Prepare for Your Application" tab for the list of questions you will need to respond to in the questionnairre.
Step 4: Upload a jpg ID photo of yourself (This should be a simple headshot against a plain white background, such as on a driver's license, but can be taken on your phone. This will be your ID photo for the program and may be used on your student ID or metro card).
Step 5: Upload a current resume. This should be a resume including your most recent and relevant work, volunteer and educational experience, which will be provided to potential internship site managers
Step 6: Attend an advising session with our on-site program partners in your selected internship host city.
Step 7: Pay a $200 non-refundable deposit. You will be directed to pay the deposit after you complete the advising session and the International Education Office has approved your application (this could take approximetly 3 - 5 days after your adivising sesssion). If your program is waitlisted, you can add yourself to the waitlist without paying a deposit.
